Soil improvers

Familia de mejoradores del suelo JISA

Agricultural soil is a natural source of the nutrients needed by plants. Several factors cause the progressive degradation of agricultural soils. Low levels of organic matter, saline conditions, and nutrient loss through leaching impact the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soils.

There are various factors that produce progressive degradation of agricultural soils. The physical, chemical and biological properties of soils are affected by low levels of organic matter, salinity conditions and by the loss of nutrients through leaching. Different parameters must be addressed so that a soil can be classified as suitable for agriculture: pH, texture and electrical conductivity. The properties of the soil wear out over time and their characteristics diminish due to intensive use of crops without the contribution of organic matter.

This family of products increases the amount of humus in the soil, improving its texture and capacity to store mineral elements and water. The biological part of the soil must be kept active to favour the plant’s transformation and availability of nutrients.

There are different JISA products that help the farmer to improve the conditions of their soil and can be grouped as follows:

  • Humic acids from Leonardite.

  • Saline correctors.

  • Organic activators.
