The REACH registration is the European regulation that defines legislative framework concerning Chemicals and it has been adopted to improve the protection of human health and the environment from the risks that can be posed by chemicals, while improving competitiveness in the chemical industry in the EU. It also promotes alternative methods for hazard assessment of chemicals in order to reduce the number of animal tests.
This regulation is considered one of the greatest challenges for the chemical industry in this century, to the point of turning it into an international reference.
